Newbridge College Mock Interviews - Request for Volunteers

Newbridge College Mock Interviews - Request for Volunteers

The 5th year “Mock Interviews” take place on the evening of May 6th. Every year the PSA asks parents to volunteer for this very positive and certainly worthwhile exercise.

The Interviews will take place from around 7.30 to 9.30 with a brief introduction beforehand. While this is a formal interview, focusing primarily on CV, hobbies, subject choice and future career plans no experience in interviewing is needed as a suggested list of possible questions is available along with assessment sheets.

Once a list of interviewers is drawn up, interview panels (who will interview 3-4 students on the night) of 2 or more interviewers will be formed.

If you require any more information regarding the process please do not hesitate to contact me or Brian Howard (School Guidance Counsellor) on 045 487238.

I encourage you to volunteer as an interviewer if time permits. I know that the volunteers who have taken part in the process previously have found it to be a very enjoyable and rewarding evening.

If you are available to take part in the Mock Interviews please forward me – either by text or by e-mail- your name, contact number and email.

Thank you

Kathleen Ryan (Secretary, Parent School Association)
