Public Speaking Success

Congratulations to our Senior Public Speaking team (Gareth Fisher, Molly Shea and Daniel Ryan) who won

the County Final of the Public Speaking Project run by Mental Health Ireland. Their topic was “Children have more need of models than of critics”. In the first round they beat Colaiste Lorcain, Castledermot. In the final they met St. Wolstans Community School and Ardscoil Rath Iomghain. They will go on to represent Kildare/West Wicklow in the Eastern Regional Final, where they will compete against St. Ciaran’s Community School, Kells and St. Paul’s Secondary School, Walkinstown. The final takes place on Monday 28th February in St. John of God Hospital, Stillorgan, beginning at 7p.m. Supporters are welcome!
