With mock exams and midterm breaks now behind us, all eyes will be on Donnybrook for this encounter. Our boys have been working as hard as they possibly can and are now primed to do their best. We wish them, their coaches and all involved the very best of luck for Sunday.RUGBYJunior B v St Michael’s
Newbridge College Junior B squad faced St. Michael's College in their final group match on Wednesday last. Heavy underfoot conditions made the going tough but both teams served up a pulsating encounter. There was never more than a score between the teams at any stage of the game and at half time the scores were level at five all. Newbridge started the second half well and went ahead after Cian Lawlor touched down. Newbridge were enjoying a purple patch when a stray pass was intercepted and St. Michael's scored under the post, 10-10. St. Michael's College now had their own period of dominance and added a further converted try. Newbridge however were full of determination to get the win. Shortly after Alex Buckley scored an important try and Jack Carroll converted. The teams were level again 17-17. Newbridge held onto possession for the last 10 mins and were awarded two penalties which Jack Carroll held his nerve to score and leave the final score Newbridge College 23, St. Michael's College 17. Best on the day were Daire Timmins, David Bergin, Micheál O' Connor, Jamie Buckley, Alex Buckley and Aaron O' Hora.Other Results:
