Win for German Debating Team

Congratulations to the German Debating team who

(Ralph and Evan Hurley O’Dwyer, Aoife Keane and Jill McTernan) won their most recent debate against St. Leo’s girls on December 9th in Carlow. The topic for this debate was ‘Kleider machen Leute’ (Clothes make the man). It was a strongly argued debate, with excellent ideas from both sides, but in the end the Newbridge Team, arguing against the motion, won the day. Well done!
