Musical 2011 - Alice in Wonderland

It’s musical time!! Once again the students of Newbridge College are taking to the stage to present their version of the renowned Tim Burton classic of Alice in Wonderland with kind permission of Josef Weinberger.  The rehearsals have been ongoing since early September and plenty of long hours and hard work has gone into preparing the show for public viewing. The cast is being fronted by Akvile Kovanaite who is playing the role of Alice with Luke Tai and Sorcha Lavelle Walsh backing her up with their fantastic performances of The Mad Hatter and the Queen of Hearts respectfully. Over 110 students are involved in this year’s performance with 3 shows available to the public in addition to the two matinees they will stage for over 1000 primary school students. The musical will be staged in the college theatre on Thursday Nov 16th, Friday Nov 17th and Saturday Nov 18th. Tickets are priced at €10 for adults and €7 for students and OAP’s. Tickets are available from the school office and your support is greatly appreciated.
