Bus will leave the College at 8am on the morning of Conference returning at 4.30pm. Students must wear full uniform and bring a packed lunch. Cost €10 for bus. Free Entry to venue. Only 46 places are available so places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

On behalf of the Transition year students of Terenure College I would like to invite your school to attend the sixth Leaders On Our Level Conference which will take place at Croke Park Dublin on Friday 24th February 2012
Students attending the conference, entitled “Leaders on our Level”, will be addressed by the following speakers on the topics of Leadership, Motivation, what it takes to succeed in life and Business; and Making the most of our Talents
· Bobby Kerr: (Chairman Insomnia & Dragons Den) will discuss Leadership in the context of Ireland today, the need for innovation and entrepreneurs
· Orla Sheridan: Director of Consumer Business Microsoft Ireland will discuss the future of work and leadership in the context of a large multinational organisation.
· Fr. Peter McVerry: will talk about the need for leadership in our communities to look after and remember the less well off. Fr. Peter will discuss why students need to maintain a social conscious throughout their lives
· Anne Sheehan Sales Director IBM Ireland will speak about the challenges of leading an enterprise sales team for a multinational
· Enda McNulty: MD Motiv8, will address the importance of setting goals as a roadmap to reaching your full potential
· Wilhelm Verwoerd: Glencree Centre for Peace & Reconciliation was joined by Alistair Little and Gerard Foster both former combatants in the Northern Ireland troubles. They related their personal stories of how they were mis-led to do harm in their youth. They also told students on how they are working together to build peace networks in their communities and overseas.
Over 800 student delegates from schools in the Leinster area are expected to attend the conference which will be free to transition year students. A limited number of tickets will be allocated to each school. Each school is expected to make its own transportation arrangements to Croke Park and one teacher from each school should attend with their Group.
