Super Performance from 2nd Yr. Basketballers

The Second Year Girls began their campaign in February.

They beat Trim, Castledermot and Kilcock and went on to beat Templemore in the Regional Final claiming the Midland League Div c Second Year Girls’ Title.  From there the team went to Sligo to play in the All-Ireland Playoffs.  They won their Pool by beating Pres Mitchelstown, Eureka Kells and the Holy Family Newbridge.  They progressed to the Semi Final and beat Donegal town.  They were defeated by Caherciveen in the Final.  It was an incredible season for this team who are delighted to be All-Ireland Runner-up Div C Second Year Girls’ Champions.
